Maricopa County near Phoenix/Tucson, Arizona a boom area

Maricopa County is amoung the Fastest growing U.S. counties according to the census bureau

April 10, 2007 Leslie Christie a CNN Money reporter has written a great article on "The Boom Areas of America, 10-fastest growing U.S. counties".

According to the U.S. census bureau Maricopa county or Phoenix, Arizona has been listed as number 6 for fastest growing area in the nation.

Today Maricopa County or Phoenix, Arizona reports a population of 3.8 million and Tucson’s popluation has grown to 843,000.

Why should you consider Tucson or Phoenix? We have great weather, job growth and high tech companies moving here, and the cost of living is relatively low.

Tucson is a low key, casual, beautiful place to live. We have been discovered! The Accenture Match play tournament brought in 67 world famous golf pros and a couple of them bought homes in the luxurios Gallery Canyon Pass area.

WOW! The Ritz Carlton residence will feature several luxury homes behind the exclusive gates of Canyon Pass. The starting spec home has over 4800 square feet and hosts high end technology with fabulous Tortolita views. The homes in this area will start at 1.3 million.

Want more? How about the opening of "The Street of Dreams". There are eight luxury homes for sale in Stone Canyon. Stone Canyon is a private gated golf community designed by Jay Morrish. What sets this area apart is the gorgeous rock outcroppings and boulders. The greens meander through out several luxurious homes and a state of the art country club.

The best is yet to come! Saguaro Ranch was developed by Stephen Phinny a real estate developer and son of Ambassador Robert H. Phinny, and grandson of Daniel F. Gerber, founder of Gerber Products Company.

Saguaro Ranch offers architectural features to further enhance the Sonoran desert beauty, natural rock outcroppings, boulders, and Tortolita mountain views! Steve Phinny had a dream to build a full service equestrian ranch catering to the ultra rich. We have been discovered by some movie stars! Yes, build and they will come!

Marana and Oro Valley has been compared to "Scottsdale" or "The Boulders" need I say more. Are we worried about the housing market in Tucson?
