Tucson Housing Market Snapshot report for All Residential Sales - August 2007
The good news according to Judy Lowe, president of the Tucson Association of Realtors " We did not see a decline in unit sales. Since August 2007 we are only down 79 units from last month and we are still above levels we saw last year".

Average Sales Price for August 2007 rises to $273,932 up 2.06% from August of 2006.
Home Sales from August 2007 ($279,136,853) to August 2006 (370,671,500) decreased 24 percent.
Median Sales Price in Tucson for August 2007 was $220,000 down from August 2006 at $220,900. This is only a $900 swing from last year!
The number of new listings for August 2007 was 2,337 which decreased 25.69% from August 2006 (3,145).
Active Listings in August 2007 (8,954) as compared to August 2006 (9,401) decreased 4.75%.
The Average sales price increased 2.06% from $268,408 in august 2006 to $273,932 in August 2007.
The Average days it takes to sell a home in Tucson is 69 days and we have about 8.7 months supply of inventory.
