The Office of Federal Housing Enterprise Oversight or The OFHEO released the financial statements for The Third Quarter 2007. According to the finanical statement Fannie Mae had a 5.9 percent surplus which is above the required minumum Capital and Freddie Mac was 1.7 percent above the minimum requirement.
